International Collaborations

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various international institutions across the world. These collaborations aim to strengthen academic cooperation, enhance research activities, and promote institutional development.

Sichuan Agricultural University (SAU), China

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sichuan Agricultural University (SAU) of, China. The MoU signing ceremony was held on June 08, 2021.

Purpose of the MoU:

  1. There is a long history of joint research and educational cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt regarding the Urdu language. This cooperation has proven to be beneficial for both countries. And this cooperation is a good step towards effective and active relations and a secure future between the two countries, beyond language and literature.
  2. Considering the quality of the educational programs of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur in Urdu language and literature, and research activities, on the one hand, and the prestigious and well-known position of Egypt among all universities at the international level, on the other hand, in view of the common desire of the parties, both have agreed on the following.
